According to a ranking by Civiltà del Bere, which takes into account scores from across the main national wine guides (Ais Vitae, Bibenda, Doctor Wine, Gambero Rosso, Slow Wine and Veronelli), 20 Amarone wines were recognized as excellent by at least 2 and up to 5 of the 6 wine guides. Half of the these wines are produced in Valpolicella wineries that belong to the association Historic Families.
Both the 2015 Capitel Monte Olmi Amarone della Valpolicella DOCG Classico Riserva and 2015 La Fabriseria Amarone della Valpolicella DOCG Classico Riserva were recognized as excellent by 4 out of the 6 guides!
