The Amarone della Valpolicella DOCG Riserva Maternigo 2016 has been named the “Best Amarone of the Valpolicella” and has been awarded the gold medal.
“Intense and dense ruby color, extremely complex bouquet comprised of black cherry, cinnamon, clove, chocolate, and spice. Monumental palate that is perceived as an exceptional progression of fresh tones from aromatic herbs to dry grapes,” describes Alessandro Torcoli.
