The Amarone della Valpolicella La Fabriseria Riserva 2016 was selected by the Gambero Rosso as part of its new list of “Rare Wines,” made up of extremely high-quality wines that are available only in limited quantities and have an important story to tell about how and why they were produced. These wines are for the true connoisseurs and collectors but are also important for all wine lovers due to their ability to change the perspective for both those who drink wines and those who produce wines.
The list includes only 50 Italian wines, those that make a difference, and the Amarone della Valpolicella Classico La Fabriseria Riserva 2016 di Tedeschi is the only wine from the Veneto. The rarity of the wine is determined not only as a function of its limited production – a maximum of 3000 bottles – but also because of its unique style, fruit of an idea capable of inspiring and opening a new road in winemaking.
Having been selected gives us enormous satisfaction because, for us, the Amarone La Fabriseria fully encompasses our family’s recognizability and underscores our family’s philosophy, which hinges on observation and research in our vineyards to understand how to valorize in the cellar the aromatic potential of each of our terroirs.
Thank you to the Gambero Rosso, who ascertained how to capture the details of our wine, produced from grapes grown in our vineyard, La Fabriseria, located on the highest hillsides of the classic zone.
