La Fabriseria - Exclusive Valpolicella Cru by Tedeschi | Tedeschi Wines
Vigneto-Fabriseria-2
La Fabriseria

The vineyard is located in the Classica zone in the locality of Le Pontare between the communities of Fumane and Sant’Ambrogio in Valpolicella.

  • Range: approximately 7 hectares
  • Altitude: 450-500 m asl
  • Exposure: south-southeast
  • Form of winegrowing: guyot
  • Terrain:  From a geological perspective, the area lays on rose colored marl limestone, calcarenites and grey-yellow clay shale from the Cretaceous. The land is very calcareous (30%), giving the wine produced aromatic complexity and intensity. The same terrain is characterized by rose-white marl, rich in calcium carbonate and iron oxide that gift wines with great structure and good balance. It is the sandy fraction that provides the fresh and fruity olfactory notes, which are fine and persistent. The silty texture produces wines that are balanced and long-lived.

Grapes are selected from this vineyard for the production of two of our high-end Crus: Amarone della Valpolicella Classico Riserva La Fabriseria and Valpolicella Classico Superiore La Fabriseria.
