The wine is obtained via natural arrest of fermentation and left to mature for 2 years in barrels made from Slavonian oak. This is a very fruity wine with great concentration and sustained by a good acidity, which together with a sweetness that is not cloying, makes it very suitable for many food pairings. The wine pairs well with dry desserts (shortbread, crunchy cake, almond biscuit), bittersweet cake, forest fruit, and herbed cheeses such as sweet gorgonzola.
